This is baked in a loaf pan and recipes comes from Kenyon Corn meal company of Rhode Island. But one can use another good quality cornmeal. Pineapple ajm is great in the recipe. Im a cornbread freak and love the various recipes! Read more ! Ingredients:
1 cup yellow cornmeal |
1 1/2 cup flour |
4 tsp baking powder |
1 tsp salt |
1 1/8 cups milk |
2 eggs beaten |
4 tbs oil |
1/2 cup pineapple jam |
1/2 cup crushed pineapple drained |
Directions:
1. Sift together dry ingreidents 2. Mix to gether wet ingrdients 3. Stir all to moisten. 4. Pour into a greased 8 x 4 into loaf pan 5. Bake 375 F about an hour OR until tested done |
