3rd place winner submitted by Bettylou Orshal. I found this recipe in The Evening Times Holiday Cookbook newspaper. I have not tried this recipe. Ingredients:
16 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
20 ounces crushed pineapple, drained |
8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed |
6 ounces ladyfingers |
1 pint strawberry, sliced |
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Stir in pineapple. Fold in whipped topping. 2. Place Lady Fingers around the sides on the bottom of a greased springform pan (9 -inch). 3. Pour filling in pan. Cover and refrigerate, 8 hours or overnight. 4. Remove sides of pan. Top with sliced strawberries. |
