Pineapple Casserole Dessert

it's a family dessert staple to this day. I might not drain the pineapple to keep some moisture. This dish could also serve as a side to baked ham!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 2/3 cups white sugar
6 eggs
15 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
9 slices bread, cubed
1/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2. Cream together the butter ans sugar.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
4. Fold in pineapple and bread cubes.
5. Pour into a 13x9 baking dish.
6. Bake for 1 hour OR until center springs back when touched.
7. Remove from oven.
8. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
9. Return to oven to melt cheese, 2 to 5 minutes.
