There are several pineapple casserole recipes on here but I couldnt find the one that I use, so I'm posting this one for safe keeping and hopefully for others to enjoy too! Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 pinch salt |
3 eggs, beaten |
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice |
3 slices white bread, cubed |
6 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease a 1 quart baking dish. 3. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, and salt. 4. Add eggs, pineapple with juice. Mix well. 5. Pour into baking dish, top with bread cubes, and dot with butter. 6. Bake for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. |
