A mixture of pineapple, flour, butter eggs and cinnamon. Excellent side dish with ham or pork roast. My in-laws are from Pennsylvania; this recipe is from some of the aunts who live there. A Christmas dinner must-have! Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
4 eggs, beaten |
1 cup white sugar |
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, in juice |
1 pinch ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, flour, eggs and sugar until well blended. Stir in the crushed pineapple. Transfer to a small casserole dish, and sprinkle cinnamon over the top. 3. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, uncovered. Serve warm. |
