This recipe goes with Basic Angel Food Cake Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons butter, softened |
1 egg yolk, beaten |
2 tablespoons pineapple juice |
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind |
3 tablespoons crushed pineapple |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except pineapple; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer about 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in pineapple. Spoon Pineapple Glaze over cake.
