Dont be fooled by the grown up sounding title this is not an adult dessert..........its for the kids in us...lol COURTESY JO MCAULEY Ingredients:
4 pineapple rings in juice ( drained) |
4 slices of panettone |
1/3 cup mini-marshmallows |
1/4 cup macadamia nuts, crushed |
2 tablespoons vanilla sugar |
powdered sugar to decorate |
Directions:
1. Pat the pineapple dry on paper towels and arrange them on two slices of panettone.
2. scatter with the marshmellows and crushed macadamia nuts and sprinkle with the vanilla sugar.
3. top with remaining two slices of panettone bread.
4. toast in a sandwich grill for 2 to 3 minutes, according to your grill , until bread is golden and the marshmallows are beginning to melt.
5. slice each sandwich into small rectangles and dust with powdered sugar.
6. serve immed
