PINA COLADA SORBET This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Turner Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1997. Ingredients:
20 ounces crushed pineapple in juice frozen at least twelve hours |
3 tablespoons dark rum |
6 tablespoons cream of coconut chilled |
Directions:
1. Place can of pineapple in hot water for 1 minute. 2. Remove lid and pour any liquid into a food processor. 3. Remove bottom of the can and slide fruit out then chop into 1 pieces. 4. Place in food processor with rum and cream of coconut then process until smooth. 5. Serve at once or transfer to a container and place in the freezer. |
