A big batch of this versatile spread keeps for up to five days in the refrigerator. Besides great sandwiches, it makes a nice dip with crackers. It can also fill a wrap sandwich made with honey-wheat tortillas and shredded lettuce. If you crave a kick, add up to 1 teaspoon of hot pepper sauce to the spread. Ingredients:
2 cups pimiento-ham spread |
12 (1-ounce) slices white or sourdough bread |
Directions:
1. Spread about 1/3 cup Pimiento-Ham Spread on each of 6 bread slices; top with remaining bread slices. |
