Pilsbury's Salisbury Steak

When we were kids, my Dad used to cook an occasional meal...this is one of them. It was always served with Tater Gems and canned corn.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
1 (5/8 ounce) package brown gravy mix
1 cup water
Directions:
1. In large mixing bowl, combine ground beef with onion, salt, basil and pepper.
2. Mix thouroughly.
3. Shape into 4 patties.
4. Brown in oil in large fry pan.
5. Remove patties and drain well.
6. Pour drippings from fry pan.
7. In same pan, saute mushrooms in butter.
8. Add browned patties to mushrooms.
9. Combine gravy mix, water; add to patties.
10. Cover; simmer, stirring gently occasionally, 15 to 20 minutes until meat is done.
