Another one from Strictly Thrifty. Ingredients:
2 cups bisquick baking mix |
1/2 cup cold water |
12 frankfurters |
1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, well drained |
catsup |
Directions:
1. Stir baking mix and water to a soft dough. Gently smooth dough into a ball on floured cloth-covered board. Knead 5 times. Roll dough into a circle 1/8 inch thick. Cut circle into 12 equal wedges. Spread each wedge with 1 Tblsp. sauerkraut. Place a frankfurter on each wedge; roll up, beginning at wide end. Seal tightly by pinching tip into roll. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 15 minutes. Heat remaing sauerkraut; serve frankfurters with catsup and hot sauerkraut. Serve with Green Peas & Cheese Salad and Cherry Cobbler. |
