these little peppers have lots of flavor with a medium heat. cheap and quick way of making a salsa that is restaurant quality....that will appeal to most everyone ! you can find these dried peppers in the ethnic section of your market...usually hanging in a clear bag. all walmarts carry them.! Ingredients:
5 arbol chiles |
1 small onion |
2 tablespoons granulated garlic |
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
2 cups of chopped fresh cilantro |
1 teaspoon oil |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. add the chiles and onion to a food processor and chop finely. 2. add to your other ingredients.blend and chill for at least an hour. 3. this is a great dip with chips - and an excellent addition to foil packs of fish or chicken cooked in the oven or grill ! |
