Kind of like one big perogie, very tasty Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles |
2 cups cottage cheese |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon onion salt |
1 teaspoon dill |
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese |
1 1/2 cups mashed potatoes |
1 teaspoon salt |
2/3 cup butter |
1 cup chopped onion |
3/4 cup chopped bacon |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. 2. Cook noodles until just soft. 3. Rinse, set aside. 4. Lay 4 noodles in bottom of greased 9x13 pan. 5. Combine cottage cheese, egg and 1 teaspoons onion salt. 6. Spread over the 4 noodles in pan. 7. Lay 4 more noodles over top. 8. Combine the dill,cheese, mashed potatoes and 1 teaspoons onion salt. 9. Spread on the noodles in the pan. 10. Lay final 4 noodles on top. 11. Heat butter in a skillet and saute the onion and bacon until onion is soft and bacon bits are nearly cooked. 12. Pour over top of final noodle layer. 13. Cover and Bake 1/2 hour and serve with sour cream. |
