This is a local favorite. I make it quite often, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Ingredients:
1 pizza crust |
2 large onions |
1 sitck butter or margarine |
1/2 pound bacon |
1 package pre-made sour cream and chive mashed potatoes |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
sour cream, if desired |
salt and pepper, if desired |
Directions:
1. Saute' onions in butter until brown, sweet, and caramelized. 2. Fry bacon until crispy, break into little pieces. 3. Slather mashed potatoes over pizza crust. 4. Cover with onions and bacon. 5. Put into a 425 degree oven for 15 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. 6. Remove from oven, cover with cheese. Put back into oven until cheese is melted. 7. Can be topped with sour cream after baked, or dipped in it while eating. 8. Add salt and pepper to your taste as well. 9. Slice, and enjoy~! |
