Get ready for winter and feeding the birds. Here is a recipe that I recently found that we can do anytime we make a pie. If you are not making a pie, just mix this batch up and put it out. The birds love it. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/2 cup shortening |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
water, to handle |
Directions:
1. Mix the first three ingredients together.
2. Add enough water to form a ball.
3. Don't bake it.
4. Put this treat out near your bird feeders and watch it disappear.
