I never got why people add sour cream or mayo when making guac. This is a hybrid that uses only fresh veggies. (A more normal guacamole can be made by reducing the amounts of onion, tomato and cilantro.) Recipe Source: My own hybrid Ingredients:
2 small avocados, (or 1 large), peeled and mashed |
1/4 cup red onion, minced |
1 tomato, diced |
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped |
1 jalapeno, seeded and minced |
1/2 lime, juice of |
sea salt, to taste |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Serve as a dip for corn chips or topping for Mexican foods. 3. For a raw vegan delight, spread on washed leaves of romaine or kale, roll up, and enjoy! |
