Self made recipe for garnishing tex-mex food. remember to take seeds out of jalapenos to mike a milder garnish. Ingredients:
5 medium jalapeno peppers |
3 ripe tomatoes |
1 large white onion |
1 scallion |
1/4 cup green onion |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
2 tablespoons lime juice |
3 teaspoons olive oil |
1/4 cup cilantro, to taste |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
Directions:
1. Finely cut the onion, scallion, jalapenos, green onion, and tomatoes Take seeds out of the tomatoes prior to chopping and take seeds out of jalapenos unless you want this to be really hot. 2. Mix all of the ingredients together and refridgerate for at least one hour. |
