This is my favorite way to make Pico de Gallo. Serve with tortilla chips or with your favorite Mexican meal. Obviously when tomatoes are in season, it's even better. If you are making Guacamole too, just add a couple of spoonfuls of the Pico de Gallo to the mashed avocado and some lime juice. Ingredients:
2 large tomatoes, chopped |
1 medium onion, chopped |
2 -3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped |
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped (optional) |
1 lime, juiced |
1 teaspoon cumin |
salt, to taste |
Directions:
1. Add tomatoes, onion, jalapeno and cilantro to medium bowl. 2. Juice lime, add cumin and salt and gently stir. 3. Enjoy! Serve with tortilla chips or with your favorite Mexican meal. |
