Great for taking along on a picnic, or to the beach on those hot summer days. I noticed the bigger lemons at the market I have been seeing lately give off a lot of juice, so you may only require 1/2-2/3 as many, but the juice total you measure should be the same. Ingredients:
2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 24 lemons) |
1 3/4-2 cups sugar (to taste) |
water |
Directions:
1. Stir together lemon juice, sugar and water (enough to make 1 gallon), stirring until sugar dissolves. 2. Pack into jugs or decanters. |
