Simple appetizer or main dish Ingredients:
3 cups water (to boil fish) |
2 cups water |
1 cup vinegar |
1 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons pickling spices |
3 bay leaves |
6 -8 slices fresh salmon |
Directions:
1. Boil water, place fish in water and turn down to slow boil cook for 35 minutes. 2. Let cool completely. 3. Separately bring 2 cups water with the rest of ingridients to a boil. 4. Place cooled salmon in container and pour marinade sauce over fish. Keeps for 2 weeks. |
