Good with ham steaks, pork roast, or ham salad. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1 cup apple cider vinegar |
1 cup water |
2 cloves |
1 stick cinnamon |
12 peaches |
Directions:
1. Into pan, put sugars, vinegar, water, and spices. Heat and stir until dissolved. Keep this syrup over low heat. In another pan, cover peaches with boiling water, and let stand until skin loosens. Drain. Remove skin. Halve and remove pits. Drop peach halves into syrup, and simmer until tender. Cover and chill. |
