Use on sandwiches. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups red wine vinegar |
6 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed |
1 bay leaf |
1 pinch red pepper flakes |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 red onions, sliced |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, bring to a boil red wine vinegar, sugar, fennel seeds, bay leaf, red pepper flakes and salt. 2. Add sliced onions and simmer 1 minute; let cool. |
