Another pickled okra recipe Ingredients:
10 small okra pods (enough to fill pint jar) |
2 hot peppercorns |
2 whole cloves |
2 garlic cloves |
1 teaspoon dill seed |
1 quart white vinegar |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup pickling salt |
Directions:
1. For 1 pint jar, place pepper, cloves, garlic and dill seed in jar and then fill jar with small okra. 2. Mix remaining ingredients, bring to boil and pour over okra. Seal. Can be used in 6 weeks. |
