Hubby came home with 8 dozen eggs he bought from a local man. What else could we do? For the recipe, I boiled 6 dozen....a few of them didn't make it so it was probably about 5 1/2 dozen that were pickled.
Ingredients:
6 dozen eggs
1 1/2 cups salt
3 quarts white distilled vinegar
2 tbs. red pepper
Directions:
1. Boil eggs 10 min.
2. Run cold water over till cool
3. Peel and place in clean jars
4. Bring all other ingredients to rolling boil
5. Pour solution over eggs and seal
6. *You don't have to use canning jars
