I can't say anything about this but I love this recipe. Ingredients:
2 (16 ounce) cans sliced beets |
1 cup sliced onion |
2/3 cup sugar |
2/3 cup cider vinegar |
1 cinnamon stick |
5 cloves, whole |
Directions:
1. Drain beets, reserving 2/3 cups liquid (if necessary add water to make 2/3 cups of liquid). 2. In a large pan combine all ingredients, bring to a boil. 3. Simmer 10 minutes. 4. Stirring occasionally. 5. Refrigerate. 6. Before serving drain and remove cinnamon stick and cloves. |
