Try it for every occasion Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups beets (canned, sliced and reserve juice) |
1/2 cup vinegar |
1/2 cup beet juice (from reserve) |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 cloves |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 peppercorns |
1/4 bay leaf |
1 green pepper, sliced |
1 onion, sliced |
1/2 teaspoon horseradish |
Directions:
1. Place the sliced beets in a fruit jar. 2. Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil over medium heat. 3. Pour over the beets in fruit jar. 4. Refrigerate. 5. Serve chilled. |
