My mom used to make this as a simple and addictive appetizer when I was a kid. I have NEVER seen this anywhere, but my guess is that it's a Midwestern type dish. The flavors are unusual but incredibly good. The ham should NOT be paper thin, but should instead be more thickly sliced. Ingredients:
1 slice deli ham, thickly sliced |
1 dill pickles |
1 tablespoon cream cheese, softened |
Directions:
1. Blot dry the ham and pickle. 2. Spread the cream cheese on the ham slice. 3. Place the pickle on the ham slice and roll up. 4. Slice into rounds. |
