Picante Shrimp 'n' Pepper Pasta |

Creole flavors of shrimp, bell peppers, onion, garlic and tomato are kicked up with PaceĀ® Picante Sauce and served over pasta to make a quick and delicious dish. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
2 small green peppers or yellow peppers, cut into strips |
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms |
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 cup paceĀ® picante sauce |
2 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped |
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined |
3 1/4 cups cooked medium tube-shaped pasta (ziti) |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in skillet. Add peppers, mushrooms, basil and garlic and cook until tender-crisp. 2. Add picante sauce, tomatoes and shrimp. Heat to a boil. Cook over low heat 5 minutes or until shrimp are done. Add pasta and heat through. |
