I found this recipe on a box of Publix brand refrigerated pie crust. Posting here for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1/2 lb lean ground beef |
2 tablespoons sliced green olives |
1 tablespoon diced green chilis |
2 teaspoons roasted garlic |
1/2 teaspoon adobo seasoning |
1 tablespoon flour |
1/2 cup spanish tomato sauce |
salt and pepper, to taste |
2 refrigerated pie crusts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Brown ground beef, olives, garlic, and seasoning 5 - 7 minutes over medium high heat, stirring until it crumbles. 2. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in flour; cook one minute. Stir in tomato sauce, salt and pepper; cook two more minutes, then remove from heat. 3. Cut each pie crust into eight wedges; spoon one tbsp meat mixture onto wide end of each wedge. Roll up from wide end to point. Place point down on ungreased baking sheet; curve into crescent shape. Bake 12 - 15 minutes or until golden. |
