Want a different change of pace from the ordinary dip or spread. Try this one. It's great and so full of wonderful flavors.
Ingredients:
1 pound red lentils
2 white onions finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 small green chili peppers finely chopped
1 teaspoon ground coriander
Directions:
1. Soak lentils in cold water for one hour.
2. Drain and pat dry with papers towels then blend in blender 2 cups at a time.
3. Add onions, salt, pepper, chilies and coriander.
4. Mix all ingredients and drop by spoonfuls in hot oil and fry until golden brown.
5. Serve warm.
