I saw this recipe in a magazine a couple of years ago. Great little appetizer if you don't have a lot of time. They go well with a crisp German white wine. Ingredients:
1 package (8oz) cream cheese softened |
2 to 3 tablespoons horseradish sauce |
3/4 cup chopped imitation crabmeat (or real) |
1 tbsp chopped green onion |
2 packages (2.1 oz each) frozen miniature phyllo tart shells |
paprika |
Directions:
1. In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and horseradish until smooth. Stir in the crab meat and onion. Spoon 2 to 3 teaspoonfuls into each tart shell. Sprinkle with paprika. 2. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 for 16 to 18 minutes or until tops begin to brown. 3. Serve warm. |
