From ChowMama Ingredients:
1/4 lb butter (organic) |
2 ounces baking chocolate (organic) |
1 cup sugar (organic) |
2 eggs (organic) |
1/2 cup flour (organic) |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla (organic) |
3 pinches organic cinnamon (optional) or 3 pinches cardamom (optional) |
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease & flour an 8-inch square pan. 2. Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler; let mixture cool. 3. Cream sugar and eggs with mixer on low speed. Add flour, vanilla, salt and spices. 4. Add butter and chocolate, and mix in until everything is mushed together. Careful not to over beat. If using, stir in nuts. 5. Pour evenly into pan and bake 25-30 minutes. Tester should come out clean when done. Let cool, cut, scarf down! |
