I haven't tried this one yet, but I wanted to know where it was at when I wanted it.. Ingredients:
1 (2 lb) top round beef roast |
instant chicken bouillon granules |
2 ounces sliced onions |
2 ounces sliced green peppers |
4 slices cheese |
5 (8 inch) hero buns |
Directions:
1. Rub the meat with chicken base and put it into a large container. Allow the beef to marinate, overnight, in the refrigerator. 2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 3. Put the beef into a large roasting pan and roast it until rare, about 2 1/2 hours. 4. Remove the roast to a cutting board and let cool before thinly slicing. 5. Saute the onions and peppers together in a grill pan over medium-low heat until softened. 6. Add 6 ounces of thinly sliced beef over the peppers and onions. 7. Top with slices of cheese and allow it to melt. 8. Put the grilled meat, cheese, onions and peppers on the hero bun and serve. |
