Yum, came from some internet site during one of my burger searchs, we topped ours with warmed tomato sauce. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 egg yolk |
1/4 cup grated onion |
1 large garlic clove, minced |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
salt and pepper |
6 slices provolone cheese |
6 hamburger buns, split |
Directions:
1. Mix together the beef, egg yolk, onion, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Mix lightly, using your hands. Shape into 6 patties. 2. Grill to desired doneness. Top with cheese. 3. Serve in hamburger buns with your favorite toppings. |
