phillipine pork adobo, braised pork with soy sauce and vinegar Ingredients:
500 grams of pork cut into bite-sized cubes |
1/2 cup white vinegar |
1 head garlic, finely chopped |
2 pcs. bay leaves |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
1 cup water |
1 teaspoon peppercorn |
Directions:
1. with alittle oil brown pork in a heavy skillet 2. Add vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, bay leaves, peppercorn and water. 3. Bring to a boil, simmer for 20 mins 4. When the juice is absorbed just another cup of water. 5. Cover and let simmer until pork becomes tender. and all the juice is absorbed 6. Serve hot. |
