Olive oil, no butter! Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups frozen peas, thawed |
1 tbsp olive oil |
1 ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat water in a medium sauce pan. Add a generous amount of salt. 2. Prepare an ice bath. 3. At boiling, add peas and cook for 30 seconds. 4. Plunge peas in ice bath, stirring, for about a minute. Drain and rinse peas again. 5. Heat olive oil over low heat. Heat peas in oil for about a minute and serve. |
