Pete's Ginger Salad Dressing |

If you love the ginger salad dressings served in Japanese restaurants, you're gonna love this! Use any blender, but I love my Vita-Mix. Ingredients:
1/2 cup minced onion |
1/2 cup peanut or soy bean oil |
1 stalk celery |
4 teaspoons soy sauce |
1/3 cup rice vinegar |
1 carrot (peeled and top removed) |
4 tablespoons ginger |
2 tablespoons tomato paste |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon white pepper |
hot sauce (texas pete's) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender on high speed. Blend till well pureed. 2. When I cook, I cook by sight - therefore the ingredient amounts are. 3. estimated. When preparing, taste dressing and adjust ingredients. 4. accordingly. |
