Peter's No-Added Sodium Veggie Spaghetti Sauce

A no-added sodium, meatless version. Use your favorite seasonings.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp light olive oil
1/2 tbsp sugar
425 g onion, chopped
266 g sweet bell peppers
318 g beans, kidney, mature, sprouted
1 can tomato paste
382 g italian tomatoes, skinned and seeded
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp. hot chili sauce
Directions:
1. saute onions in oil
2. add and briefly saute garlic
3. add tomatoes and juice
4. add tomato paste
5. add sweet peppers
6. add kidney beans
7. add seasonings: onion powder, basil, oregano, basil, bay leaves, parsley.
8. add additional 1 tbsp. crushed red peppers for a spicier sauce.
