Mom's Pesto Sauce This was my grandfathers recipe from when he was a chef, it was passed down to me from my mother, it is a creamy pesto sauce, and my familys favorite. Recipe By: Vilma Wieners Serving Size: 4 Cuisine: Italian Main Ingredient: Basil Categories: Sauces Ingredients:
1 bunch basil, chopped fine |
1/3 of package cream cheese (8 ounce) |
1/4 cup butter |
3 garlic cloves, chopped fine |
1 dash salt |
1 dash pepper |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and cream cheese, add garlic, basil ,parmesean cheese, salt and pepper and mix well. We always set aside a small amount of the pasta water to add if it seems too dry. |
