Pesto Parsley Sauce for Pasta |

Very easy and simple recipe. Hope you enjoy. From Pol Martin cookbook. Ingredients:
1 cup fresh parsley, washed and dried |
1 cup fresh basil, washed, dried |
3 garlic cloves, peeled |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
1/4 cup pine nuts |
salt and pepper |
cooked small shell pasta, for 4 |
Directions:
1. place parsley, basil in food processor and blend. 2. add garlic and blend again. 3. add olive oil and cheese. 4. season with salt and pepper. 5. process until mixture is well blended. 6. mix sauce with hot pasta. 7. sprinkle with pin nuts. 8. serve while hot. |
