1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
4 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves |
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Process pine nuts and garlic in a food processor until blended. Add basil; process until finely chopped. With processor running, gradually add oil in a slow, steady stream. Add lemon juice, cheese, and salt; process until mixture has a thick consistency. |
