Pestatoes-Pesto Mashed Potatoes

I came up with this one night when I wanted something more flavorful than hum drum mashed potatoes and it is GREAT! This recipe is very flexible so feel free to play with the quantities to suit your taste. I prefer to leave the skins on but you could also peel the potatoes prior to starting. .
Ingredients:
4 -6 medium russet potatoes, halved
3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons prepared pesto sauce
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. Put quartered potatoes into a large pot.
2. Add enough water just to cover potatoes.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Boil for 20 minutes or until tender.
5. Drain potatoes and return to pot.
6. Add the butter, garlic, milk, pesto and parmesan and mix with hand mixer or potato masher until desired consistency is reached.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
