Persimmon Black Walnut Cake |

Found in an old cookbook, makes a small cake. Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons melted butter |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup persimmon pulp |
1 egg |
1 cup flour, plus |
6 teaspoons flour |
2/3 teaspoon baking powder |
2/3 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 cup chopped black walnut |
Directions:
1. blend dry ingreduents together, add butter milk and persimmon pulp. 2. Mix well, add egg and walnuts. 3. Pour into greased 8x8 inch pan. 4. Bake at 350 for 35 min or until test done. |
