Who doesn't like a nice slaw along side of a quaint picnic lunch or nice bit of deep fried something? This is an easy, light tasting slaw that may have cabbage critics asking for seconds. Ingredients:
4 cups cabbage (finely shredded) |
2 tablespoons carrots (finely shredded) |
1 tablespoon onion (finely minced) |
1 tablespoon green pepper (finely minced) |
2 tablespoons buttermilk |
4 tablespoons light mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon lime juice |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. 2. Refrigerate overnight before serving. |
