From Reader's Digest and the National Pork Board- yummy, yummy, easy. Just my kind of recipe. Ingredients:
5 lbs boneless pork butt, shoulder |
1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika |
2 teaspoons black pepper |
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup water |
Directions:
1. Mix dried seansonings. 2. Rub evenly over roast. 3. Place roast in crock pot/ slow cooker. 4. Add water. 5. Cook on Low for 6-8 hours. 6. Remove roast to cutting board and let rest for 10-15 minutes. 7. Shred meat. |
