Perfect Perogy Casserole

It's a great dish to serve perogies with a different twist on them. I've substituted sausage for the ham and that works just as good. I've never microwaved this dish so I can't tell you how well it would turn out.
Ingredients:
16 -20 pierogies
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
1/2 cup cooked ham, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (284 ml) can condensed mushroom soup
Directions:
1. In a small skillet melt butter or margarine and saute onion and green pepper for 5 minutes.
2. In a medium size casserole dish, combine frozen perogies, onion, green pepper and ham.
3. Combine milk and mushroom soup and pour over casserole.
4. Top with cheddar cheesse.
5. Bake 35 minutes at 175C (350F) or microwave until heated through.
