These are one the best Passover brownie recipes I tasted to date . Add a chocolate frosting or ganache Can be made all year round and not just for Passover Ingredients:
5 large eggs |
2 1/2 cups sugar |
1 1/4 cups oil |
3/4 cup baking cocoa ( may be dutch processed ) |
1 1/4 cups cake meal- not matzoh meal |
1 1/4 cups walnuts chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F 2. With mixer beat eggs and sugar pale and lemony 3. Beat in oil, cocoa, and cake meal to blend 4. Stir in walnuts 5. Pour into 2, 8 or 9 inch square pans or 1, 8 x 12 or 9 x 13 pans 6. Bake about 40 minutes or until set; being careful not to overbake them 7. Cool on rack 8. Cover and chill before cutting 9. Frost or glaze if desired |
