This is perfect, easy to make rich cranberry sauce. Goes splendidly with a roast turkey! Ingredients:
340 g fresh cranberries |
200 g caster sugar |
3 tablespoons brandy |
75 ml water |
10 ml lemon juice (optional) |
Directions:
1. Place all the ingredients in a pan and cook until the liquids have reduced to a thick cranberry sauce. 2. Once the berries have burst, which should be after about ten minutes, it should be ready. 3. Taste to test whether the sauce needs more sugar (if you find it too sweet just add some lemon juice). |
