I love the density of this cornbread. It's wonderful with soup or chili. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup cornmeal |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon kosher salt |
2 eggs |
1 cup milk |
1/2 cup oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Mix dry ingredients and set aside. 3. Mix eggs, milk and oil. 4. Mix in dry ingredients. 5. Pour into a greased 8x8 pan. 6. Bake for 25-30 minutes. |
