2 cups all purpose flous |
2 tsp baking powder |
1 tsp baking soda |
1/2 tsp salt |
3 tbsp sugar |
2 large eggs, beaten slightly |
1 tsp vanilla |
3 cups buttermilk |
4 tbsp melted butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat griddle to 375. 2. Whisk in medium bowl: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt & sugar 3. Add beaten eggs, buttermilk, vanilla & melted butter. 4. Batter should have small to medium lumps. 5. Brush griddle with your choice: melted butter, bacon grease, oil 6. Wipe off excess 7. Using 1/2 cup scoop, pour batter on hot griddle 2 apart. 8. When pancake have bubbles on top & slightly dry around edges, Flip (about 2 1/2 minutes) 9. Cook until golden brown on bottom (about 1 minute) 10. Continue cooking 11. To keep warm, put on plate in warm oven of 175 till ready to serve |
